• Crib bumper

In the first weeks of life, this soft toy works perfectly as a crib bumper. Sewn-in strings allow you to attach the puppy to any type of crib. The velvety minky structure and delicate, hypoallergenic filling ensure that even the most active baby will be safe in their bed.

Another extremely important stage in a baby’s life is sensory stimulation. Following and focusing on the toy develops the child’s eyesight and perception. To sew the sensory dachshund, we used safe minky fabric – a soft, pleasant-to-touch material with raised dots that will certainly intrigue little fingers. Along the puppy’s back are black-and-white pockets with pouches. Right after birth, babies don’t recognize colors, so pull the pockets out so your baby can focus on the black-and-white patterns.

On the back there are three pockets containing pouches with different fillings. They are part of the puppy, but once removed they become additional sensory toys stimulating the sense of touch. How to play with the baby using the pouches?

Lay your baby on their tummy on a playmat and spread the pouches in front. Encourage them to observe, touch, listen or move them. Each pouch feels different… Did you know that buckwheat rustles, rice pours so easily, lavender filling soothes with its scent, while cherry stones are round and, when heated, can be used as a tiny warmer?

The dachshund is soft, so it can be arranged, folded, or wrapped in many ways.

It can support your child’s motor development by positioning your baby on the side in the crib or creating a “nest.” The puppy can also motivate tummy time thanks to its sensory elements and later provide support in high prop play.

For your baby’s health, always keep toys clean. The toy consists of the plush dog and 3 sensory pouches with natural fillings. Wash the plush dog in warm water with baby soap before use. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not spin. Sensory pouches are filled naturally: yellow – buckwheat hulls, green – rice, pink/navy – cherry stones. Due to their natural fillings, store the pouches in a dry place, away from moisture.

How to care for the toy?

• Check the condition of each pouch before use – replace immediately if damaged.
